|
W2PIO is the ham radio station and operator callsign issued to me by the Federal Communications Commission, the government agency here in the United States that regulates ham radio. Before the W2PIO call was issued to me in September 2009, I previously held the callsign KC2HMZ and, before that, KC2FNG. I first became licensed in September 1999 as a Technician (KC2FNG), and upgraded to my current General Class ticket in 2001 (KC2HMZ and now, W2PIO). I am a fan of the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Bisons, Buffalo Sabres, and Cincinnati Reds...in no particular order! |

This web site is made up of several pages, each of which deals with one of my hobby interests. The pages are linked below and you may visit any or all of them at your leisure. Since my primary interest of ham radio is a hobby that is suitable for persons of all ages, there is no adult material here and, to the best of my knowledge, there are no links to sites containing adult material either. If you are a parent, feel free to let your children look around here. You could do a lot worse than to have them interested in the radio arts - it sure beats having them hanging out on street corners and getting into trouble! As I've created this site, I have used Mozilla Firefox to view the pages and insure that everything looks the way it's supposed to look. I recommend using Firefox for viewing this site. If you're using IE or some other browser instead and things don't look right, please don't complain to me. Complain to Microsoft or whoever made the browser you're using...or get Firefox, it's free so there are no excuses, all you have to do is go download it. This site is also one of my hobby interests, so I often update things, add things, delete things, etc. The site is therefore to be considered "Under Construction" on more or less a permanent basis. |

Out there in the cyber-world, there's a gentlemen who is known as Parallax who has been an Internet friend of mine for more than a decade now. He operates a shell company called ShellProX and this web site is hosted on one of his servers. He has never charged me a dime for hosting this site - or for hosting any of the IRC bots that I have on a couple of his servers either, for that matter - and he has never asked me to include any kind of banner or advertising, either. Nonetheless, I'm including this shameless little plug on this page, because the least I can do in return for his kindness is let you folks know that if you're looking for some very reasonable prices on shell accounts, ShellProX is out there and I can personally attest to both the integrity and the technical expertise of the proprietor of ShellProX. If you need a shell account for hosting IRC bots, bouncers, or an IRCD then check out the ShellProX website or contact Parallax in the #shellprox channel on any of the major IRC networks (DALnet, IRCnet, IRC-Global, StarChat, EFnet, etc.) and see what he has to offer. Just do us all a favor and don't use your shell account for illegal purposes. Parallax is a legitimate businessman and law-abiding citizen and expects the same from his customers. If you're going to set up hacking tools, zombie networks, etc. then don't waste his time or yours. 'Nuff said! |
